A welcoming staff but messy rooms

The moment we checked in, the front desk staff greeted us warmly, making us feel at home after a long journey. The rooms had comfortable new air conditioners, which was a relief.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We encountered issues with the toilet and dark corners that seemed neglected. Housekeeping appeared overwhelmed and unresponsive.

The pool remained closed all season due to a leak!!! Unpleasant cigarette smoke permeated the hallways, affecting the overall atmosphere!!! Heavy noise from surrounding guests disturbed sleep at night!!!

We faced several issues throughout our time at the hotel. The cleanliness was a major concern, as there were stains and dirt in various areas of the room. Additionally, the two double beds we were given were not as requested, leading to discomfort during our stay.

The dining options were limited, and the pancake machine was broken during my stay.

A mixed bag for a quick stay

We stayed one night in a cozy non-smoking room. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the summer heat. The bathroom could've used some sprucing up, though. The front desk staff was decent, offering info without much enthusiasm. Breakfast was pretty sparse, just some cereal and juice. Still, there's a Waffle House nearby if you're hungry!

The room featured new furnishings and a comfortable bed. Easy access to the lower level made unloading a breeze. Air conditioning functioned well, providing a nice escape from the heat. However, the staff's communication left much to be desired. I had a frustrating experience when the front desk employee pre-processed my payment before I even checked in, causing confusion. The pool was closed during my stay due to a leak, something I would have preferred to know ahead of time. The bathroom had a strange push-button lock that malfunctioned and required a visit to the front desk to get it unlocked. Maintenance was apparently unresponsive to the urgent need. Also, a minor issue with the lamp plugs not working added to my disappointment, even though the majority of the room was contemporary and comfortable. I won't be returning if improvements aren’t made.

Just a smart choice for a swift visit in Mooresville with reasonable value. The room was fine, but I felt uneasy with the mean attitude of the staff.
